Quick update. After plane delays, 3 hours of sleep and a missed flight, I am now home. I have taken a hot shower with excellent water pressure. What a treat. Now I am ready for bed.
I will update more soon.
Thanks again for all of your encouragement, love, support and prayers!

I am so glad that you are safe and sound and sleeping in your own bed. I bet that feels good. I will continue to pray as you adjust to being home and missing so many in Haiti that you have grown to love over the last weeks.

Welcome home Joanna – Were you able to find your sleeping pattern without the rooster? Hope you can get some relaxation the next couple days & begin to adapt. Please let us know if you become stir-crazy and need someone to hang out with. We do need to share photos from our Trip & I’d be super curious to see your photos from the past two months.

I have been following you for a few days and I feel the same way.I have been to Haiti twice in the last year for medical missions at Coq Chante Haiti, about 25 miles west of PAP.It forever changes your life and actually you leave a piece of yourself there longing to go back and get it…but it always stays there.I am an RN as well and would move there if I was allowed…I myself have a blog it’s a Haiti, family blog and sometimes it’s the only way that I can get my feelings out for my second home..Praying for you as you struggle with this and praying that one day by chance we can serve together…
