We arrived safely.  I have very tired travelers.  We were up and at the airport by 4:30am. We had great flights.  It is so great to be back.  There are still fields of tent cities that many call home.  I have a hard time finding this acceptable when January will mark the 2 year anniversary of the quake.  It is hard for me to wrap my mind around it all.  It makes me a little sad but I quickly turned to joy and smiles when all the kids greeted us at the orphanage/guesthouse.

We have limited internet connection tonight and my cell phone carrier is having difficulties. So at this time, no news is good news.

Elise and Punky with the adorable kids!!!

What’s up JoJo? I know that i have never commented on one of your posts, but I am very glad to hear that you and mom made it safe. One day I think that I will be there with you, but I have this thing called a wife that may rebel or tag along. Just kidding, I love my wife to death for all those out there. Tell mom that we are proud of her courage to go with you, and of course your courageous and unbelievable, unselfish, amazing acts. I could ramble on, but Krystle, Pete, Dylan, Dad, and I love you both so much, and enjoy your Haitian experience. Make it home safe, because if you don’t, I will be pissed at you! Love you, Preston (&Krystle)

I can see an entire Theile Family adventure to Haiti happening soon! Words cannot express how grateful we are to you for this opportunity for Elise to be with you and your Mom and Punky on this incredible journey through Haiti. Thank you, Joanna, for your sacrificial heart and for letting Elise share this experience with you. Tell Elise we are sooooo proud of her and love her so much. The pictures brought me to tears (happy ones!). My Mom and Dad are here with me and they send their love and want you to know their Bible Study group is praying for you. Hugs to all of Elise’s Moms for the week and of course to my Precious Darling! And t
ell her that her birds and dog are being well taken care of. We love you! Lyn
